Indiana PathWays for Aging Updates
Most Hoosiers want to age at home. Indiana is working to give more people over age 60 on Medicaid this choice by making long-term services and supports more effective and better coordinated.
The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration will launch a new program in summer 2024 for Hoosiers aged 60 and over who receive Medicaid (or Medicaid and Medicare) benefits. The State's goal is to support older Hoosiers so they can age in the location of their choice. The program will let qualifying Hoosiers pick a health plan. And that plan will help them get high-quality services and support they need to live independently.
Current Medicaid consumers over the age of 60 should expect to receive enrollment letters beginning in February 2024.
