LifeStream Partners With Local Organizations to Offer A Matter of Balance Classes

LifeStream Services invites the public to sign up for A Matter of Balance classes offered at Kennedy Library, Jay County Community Center, and Farmland Community Center.

A Matter of Balance is designed to benefit community-dwelling older adults who are concerned about falls, have sustained falls in the past, restrict activities because of concerns about falling, and those who are interested in improving flexibility, balance, and strength.

Farmland Community Center, 100 N. Main St. Farmland, IN 47340, will offer A Matter of Balance at 1pm to 3pm beginning on Thursday, August 4. The class will be held on the following dates: August 4, 11, and 25, as well as, September 1, 15, 22, and 29.  For more information and to sign up, please contact the Farmland Community Center by calling 765-468-7631.

Kennedy Library, 1700 W. McGalliard Rd. Muncie, IN 47304, will offer A Matter of Balance at 1pm to 3pm beginning Tuesday, September 6. The class will continue each Tuesday for 8 weeks. For more information and to sign up for this class please contact Donna Catron by calling 765-747-8213.

Jay County Community Center, 115 E. Water St. Portland, IN 47371, will offer A Matter of Balance from 9:15am to 11:15am beginning Wednesday, September 7. The class will continue each Wednesday for 8 weeks. The class is open to the first 20 participants.
