LifeStream Services was recognized as a 3 Star AchieveWell company by the Wellness Council of Indiana. This award recognizes the agency’s outstanding efforts in cultivating a culture of well-being in the workplace. LifeStream is one of 15 local companies in Delaware County recognized for their employee wellness efforts, and is proud to be one of the contributing companies that helped Delaware County become one of the two counties in the state to receive the Healthy Community Award.
The Wellness Council of Indiana looks at 10 foundational guidelines in achieving AchieveWELL status. These guidelines include: leadership throughout the organization, a presence of a wellness team, measurement, integrating the organization’s mission/vision, development of an operating plan, a communication strategy, reward system, safety and injury prevention steps, and a support system within the organization.
It is LifeStream’s mission to improve the quality of life for people at risk of losing their independence. The organization also recognizes the importance of providing the necessary tools to help improve and enhance their employees’ life, health, and overall wellbeing.
The Wellness Council of Indiana promotes worksite wellness programs that help Indiana employers positively impact medical expenses and utilization rates, employee recruitment and retention, absenteeism, productivity and create a positive company image. Wellness encourages healthy employees, healthy families, and healthy communities.
