DALEVILLE – LifeStream Services added its thirteenth senior café site in Daleville. The site hosted an open house on March 10 in which the community enjoyed meal samples and a chance to learn more about the café program. The Daleville Town Board joined Ken Adkins, LifeStream’s President and CEO, and Julie Hale, LifeStream’s Wellness Manager, for an official ribbon cutting.

LifeStream’s senior cafes provide a hot, nutritious meal and an opportunity to socialize and make new friends for area seniors. Meals are provided on a donation basis for those 60 years and older and their spouses. Those under the age of 60 can enjoy a meal for a small fee.
The Daleville Café serves lunch each week on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30am. The site is located at 8520 S. Edwards St., Daleville, Ind. 47334, the site of the old Lions Club building. Reservations should be made a day in advance. For more information, please contact Dana Pierce by calling 765-759-1121 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteers are always needed and welcomed at LifeStream cafés. Volunteers of all ages can enjoy the lunch they help serve as a thank you for their service. If you are interested in volunteering at a senior café site, please contact Laura Bray by calling 765-759-1121 or email email@example.com.
