LifeStream Services has added a new senior café site in Daleville. This is the thirteenth senior café that LifeStream coordinates. The cafés provide hot, nutritious meals throughout the week to area seniors. Meals are provided on a donation basis for those 60 years and older and their spouses. Those under the age of 60 can enjoy a meal for a small fee.
The site will have an open house on Thursday, March 10 at 6pm. The community is invited to enjoy samples of the hot, nutritious meals provided by Bateman, learn more about the café, and enjoy fun activities while making new friends in the community.
The site is located at 8520 S. Edwards St., Daleville, Ind. 47334, the site of the old Lions Club building. It will open regularly for lunches on Tuesday, March 15. Lunch will be served each week on Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30am. Reservations should be made a day in advance. For more information, please contact Dana Pierce by calling 765-759-1121 or email email@example.com.
Volunteers are always needed and welcomed at LifeStream cafés. Volunteers of all ages can enjoy the lunch they help serve as a thank you for their service. If you are interested in volunteering at a senior café site, please contact Laura Bray by calling 765-759-1121 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
