Senior Safety Net Food Distribution Comes to Henry County

NEW CASTLE, IN – LifeStream Services and Second Harvest Food Bank of East Central Indiana are partnering to offer a Senior Safety Net food distribution in Henry County. The program will provide assorted foods for older adults in need.

The New Castle Senior Safety Net will be held on the third Thursday of the month beginning October 15 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, or until supplies last, at the Salvation Army of Henry County located at 2500 Washington St. New Castle, IN 47362.

The program offers easy access locations for those who are 60 years of age or older to receive nutritious food. An ID, proof of residence or need are not required. Attendees should go through the line just one time so the distribution is able to serve everyone.
